OIL cooling system for new MONKEY
Oil cooler kit
for new Monkey
This is an oil cooler for the new Monkey. Since the mounting part is not the frame, it can be diverted to other vehicles, such as a Dax with the same engine, with minor modifications.
It is taken out from the existing oil filter cover.
Since the oil passage is not a branched type, the oil pump can remain genuine unless significant tuning is performed.
Regarding oil quantity
It will be approximately 50ml more than the normal quantity.
After installing the oil cooler, add the genuine specified amount, warm up the engine, and circulate the oil through the oil cooler body.
Then check the oil level.
As a reference, if an reinforced oil pump is installed, the oil pumping volume increases, so to prevent air lock, add about 5mm more than the upper end of the dipstick.
