*About belt tension adjustment
Initial adjustment of the belt drive is crucial. If it is too loose, it can break or its lifespan will be shortened.
Tension gauge
Measure "deflection" when a load of approximately 4.5kg (10 pounds) is applied.
Deflection guideline: 8mm to 14mm

"Simple measurement with fingers" without using a tension gauge
It is difficult to apply an exact 4.5kg load, but you can judge by the feel when pressing firmly with the pad of your finger.

Measurement guideline:
Press down firmly on the midpoint of the upper and lower spans of the belt with your thumb. Generally, there should be a deflection where "the first joint of your thumb sinks slightly **(about 10mm to 15mm)**."

Signs of "too tight":
If it barely moves when pressed with a finger, or if it's so stiff that your finger hurts, it's too tight. This can damage bearings and cause a "whirring" noise while riding.

Signs of "too loose":
If it lifts off the pulley teeth with a light press of a finger, or if the belt undulates, it will "skip" during acceleration and deceleration, damaging the belt.

The secret to extending belt life is to adjust it so that it's not overly tight at its "tightest point."

It may be damaged prematurely if not set correctly, or depending on road conditions or external pressure and usage.
If any abnormalities (cracks, damage, or missing parts) are found before installation, please contact us without installing it, as we will replace it. After installation, it is considered inspected and approved, and we will not provide warranty for any reason.
