OIL cooling system for new MONKEY
For new monkey
oil cooler kit
This is an oil cooler for the new Monkey. Since the mount part is not a frame, it can be used for other cars, such as Dax with the same engine, with minor modification.
It will be removed from the existing oil filter cover.
Since the oil path is not a branch type, the oil pump can be left as stock unless major tuning is done.
About oil amount
This will be about 50ml more than the normal amount.
After installing the oil cooler, add the specified amount of oil and warm up the oil cooler to circulate the oil through the oil cooler body.
Then check the oil level.
For reference, if a reinforced oil pump is installed, the amount of oil pumped will increase, so add about 5mm more than the top of the level gauge to prevent air from being trapped.
