The 428 size is over spec with an engine capacity of 125cc.
Super Cub C125, GROM, Wave125, etc., which have the same engine as CT125 but have even higher output, are 420 size.
The effect of downsizing from 428 to 420 chain is smoother acceleration and deceleration due to lighter weight. The acceleration will be better and the brakes will also be more effective. Fuel efficiency also improves because resistance is reduced. Of course, the maximum speed increases, and the use of a sealed chain lengthens the maintenance cycle, and the adjustment span is longer with the sealed type 420 than with the non-sealed 428.
