Customization balance and precautions

CT125 users may recall the internet buzz regarding the breakage of the right rear shock mount boss.
It was reported that this issue, which also serves as the mounting point for the muffler and carrier, tends to occur when using an aftermarket muffler with a single mounting point.
Incidentally, I also have an aftermarket muffler with a single mounting point, and I've experienced no problems even under Thailand's poor road conditions.
I have an aftermarket small and lightweight carrier installed.
When I need to carry cargo, I attach a foldable container each time.
What I think about this issue is the carrier and the aftermarket box.
If you have a large carrier or a large box that can fit a full-face helmet, the stress will concentrate on that specific area.
Furthermore, installing the box further back on the vehicle amplifies the stress, all of which contributes to the stress on that area.
And if you tighten the bolt to its recommended torque (although it's not always necessary to tighten it that much), it also creates stress.
I hope you can enjoy your custom bike life while keeping these points in mind.
Our website also sells lightweight carriers, so please consider them for reference.
